Anneke is a wife, stepmother and adoptive mother. She is a Certified
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) who has a Masters Degree in Nursing
from UCLA in Pediatric Primary Ambulatory Care with a specialty in
developmental disabilities. She received her Bachelor of Science degree
in Nursing from Skidmore College. In addition, she is a Certified Facilitator
for the Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® program.
For the past 20+ years, Anneke has been a PNP in private practice with two
excellent pediatric groups: Tenth Street Pediatric Medical Group, Inc. (Santa Monica) and Southern Orange County Pediatric Associates (Lake Forest). As a PNP, Anneke provides medical care, education and consultation for children and families from birth through adolescence. She loves to care for well and sick children and their parents while helping them to grow into healthy and happy families. She believes that the cornerstone for the development of healthy children and families is the parent's ability to develop skills that allow them to teach and guide their children in a knowledgeable, sensitive and effective manner. In the last ten years, she has enhanced her practice to become a parenting specialist and to teach Love and Logic Parenting®.
The Becoming a Love and Logic Parent ® course offers the best program for teaching parents how to raise responsible and emotionally healthy children. Love and Logic Parenting encourages parents to become loving authority figures, to love their children enough to set clear limits, to encourage independent thinking and problem solving, and to allow empathy and consequences to do the teaching without anger, frustration, lecture or punishment.
Anneke has combined this program's content with her own unique psychological and medical experiences to create the CUDDLES PARENTING PROGRAMS. She offers Love and Logic small group course experience, workshops, and individualized education and counseling/coaching .
Cuddles Parenting Programs' mission is to utilize Love and Logic Parenting® techniques to guide and to support parents in their acquisition of proven parenting skills that allow parents to raise children in a loving and effective manner so that children may grow to become respectful, responsible, healthy and successful individuals.
